I keep coming back to the moment a guild needs a fast handoff in PIXELS.
I already know who should take over. They are trusted, active, and ready to run the guild. But I still cannot transfer ownership to them unless they already hold a shard. If they do not, the handoff does not even start. Once I transfer my shards, I drop to Watcher inside that same guild.
That is what changes control for me here. Leadership is not just choosing the right operator and passing the role over. The real gate is whether the replacement is already sitting inside the shard structure the system accepts. So when a guild needs a clean switch, the pressure is not just on trust. It is on getting the next person into the right spot before the transfer is even possible.
In PIXELS, the obvious successor can still be blocked at the first step. If they are not already inside the shard structure, trust does not move control. @Pixels $PIXEL #pixel
