Tether froze $344 million in USDT across two Tron wallets on Thursday after U.S. authorities flagged the addresses for suspected links to illicit activity. Tether said it carried out the freeze in coordination with OFAC and other U.S. law enforcement agencies. PeckShield identified one frozen wallet with about $213 million and the other with about $131 million. Tether did not identify who controlled the wallets or specify the alleged activity.
