The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), along with 15 international partners, has issued a joint advisory warning about cyber threats linked to China. According to NS3.AI, these threat actors are using botnets composed of compromised internet devices to conceal their attacks. One such botnet, known as Raptor Train, reportedly infected over 200,000 devices globally in 2024. The advisory also references Department of Justice filings, which indicate that the group Volt Typhoon has established footholds in critical infrastructure across the United States and allied nations.
