What keeps pulling me back on Bedrock 2.0 isn’t the scary vault lane.
Its the calm one.
Market-neutral.
Cute little phrase.
I hate how useful that sounds.
Looks clean on #Bedrock vault side. Too clean.
A treasury has BTC sitting in uniBTC. Review call coming. Covered credit looks too obviously credit-shaped. Selini looks adult, maybe crowded, maybe not. Then market-neutral sits there like the responsible middle child. Nice label. Low drama. Very convenient for a room that wants the approval call over.
Fine.
Bedrock's BRClaw Analayst gives it a clean read. Yield row behaves. Vault card doesn't look nervous. Somebody starts talking like neutral means risk already signed a peace treaty.
It didn't.
Thats where I get stuck.
Neutral to what?
For how long?
Under whose funding assumption?
At what size?
Nobody wants those questions when label is doing such lovely unpaid labor.
Because market-neutral on Bedrock 2.0 is still modular vault exposure. Not a spell. It can cut directional BTC exposure and still carry funding, hedge, unwind, and crowding risk under the Bedrock vault card.
BRClaw can make that legible. Good.
The room can also hear only the word neutral. Bad.
That split is where the workflow starts lying to itself.
Treasury sees market-neutral. Committee hears safer. Ops starts writing the note someone will quote later. Risk gets told BRClaw already framed the lane. BTC moves.
Then size makes the label smaller.
Everybody gets to feel adult for six minutes.
Bad sign.
Then Bedrock vault has to live past the label.
Funding shifts. Hedge quality matters. Selini timing across the page starts looking less optional. Covered credit suddenly wasn't only lane with teeth. Market-neutral moves wrong for something everyone kept calling neutral.
Cute.
Now the label has to explain a thing it never promised.
That's the part I'd keep watching on Bedrock.
Not whether the lane sounds calm.
Whether the calm survives the first time @Bedrock vault behaves like exposure instead of vocabulary.
Good label.
