However, I have always dreamed of diversifying my portfolio by buying US stocks and ETFs. Unfortunately, living in Venezuela, this has always been almost impossible due to the financial restrictions in our country.
Now that Binance has included this amazing feature to trade stocks and ETFs, a huge door has opened for me, but honestly, I don't know where to start in this traditional market. My questions for the community are:
a. As an investor coming purely from crypto, what is the most common mistake when jumping into traditional stocks and how can I avoid it?
b. To start step-by-step from Venezuela, do you recommend building my foundation with a diversified ETF (like the S&P 500) or is it better to pick a couple of individual tech stocks that I already know?
