Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said the number of self-custody wallets created using WDK open-source technology has exceeded 100,000.
According to Odaily, Ardoino made the announcement in a post on X.
He said the milestone reflects growing use of open-source wallet development tools in building crypto infrastructure, alongside continued growth in the self-custody ecosystem’s user base and developer adoption.
WDK is an open-source wallet development kit supported by Tether that can be integrated into devices ranging from embedded systems to mobile, desktop, and server operating systems.
