Binance has converted its entire $1 billion SAFU emergency fund into Bitcoin, now holding 15,000 BTC worth about $1.005B. The move was completed ahead of schedule at an average price of around $67,000 per BTC.

The exchange says it will top up reserves if the fund drops below $800M due to market volatility.
