A confidential report from the International Atomic Energy Agency, obtained by Reuters, reveals that a portion of Iran’s 60% highly enriched uranium has been stored in an underground section of its nuclear facility in Isfahan.

Uranium enriched to 60% purity is considered just a short technical step away from weapons-grade levels. This marks the first time the agency has publicly identified the specific location where such highly enriched material is being kept.

Although the Isfahan facility reportedly faced heavy bombardment during recent U.S. strikes and the 12-day conflict, diplomatic sources indicate that the underground storage area itself appears to have remained intact.
