Massive development. Multi-million dollar treasury backing it. Valhalla launched mid-2025 as a browser-based MMORPG built on Norse mythology.
Players can capture and battle NFT creatures called Veras, explore an open world, and earn FLOKI tokens through gameplay.

The interesting part: Floki went from meme coin to fully-fledged gaming ecosystem. Love it or not, they committed resources and years of development to ship a real product.

2. The Sandbox - $SAND
Sandbox is the OG in the space. The platform is developing rapidly and has 400+ brand partners including Warner Music, Gucci, and NBC Universal. Some number: 8 million users, and 30 million on-chain transactions. Definitely one of the largest ecosystems in Web3 gaming.

The interesting part: they announced SANDchain, a Layer 2 network designed for faster, cheaper creator transactions — mainnet planned for 2026. They also launched Corners, a platform that lets users create tradable digital assets from curated internet content, expanding beyond gaming into social curation.
