What caught my attention about Midnight was not the usual privacy narrative. It was the resource design underneath it. Most chains force value and operational fuel into the same visible stream, and that always feels noisy to me. Midnight separates NIGHT from DUST, which makes me wonder whether privacy systems work better when the engine is designed differently from the asset people hold.
If fees themselves can reveal patterns, does a shielded operational resource quietly solve more than people realize? And if the model is elegant in theory, will users actually understand it in practice?
That is the part I find worth watching.
