I Hate Sharing My Passport. Don't You? 😤

Every time an app asks for my ID, my heart sinks a little.

Full name. Date of birth. Address. Passport number. Signature. All of it. For what? To prove I'm over 18? To show I'm a real person?

They don't need everything. But they take everything anyway.

And then what? Where does it go? Who sees it? How long do they keep it?

I've stopped counting how many times my data has been "securely stored" on servers I'll never see, controlled by companies I'll never meet.

This isn't verification. This is exploitation.

Then I Found Sign Protocol.

Sign does something simple but revolutionary: you prove what's needed. Nothing more.

Need to prove you're over 21? Zero-knowledge proof. Done. No birth date. No address. No passport number.

Need to verify your citizenship? Attestation. Done. No sharing your entire document.

You hold your data. You choose what to share. You keep your privacy.

And this isn't theory. The Sign is already live. Governments are using it. Millions of attestations exist. TokenTable has distributed billions.

The infrastructure is here. Now we just need to demand better.

Be Honest 👇

When an app asks for your ID, what's your real feeling?

Drop your colour. Let's see how many of us feel the same.
