Seeing some خوف/panic around quantum computing and crypto lately 😄

Let’s keep it simple 👇

At a high level, crypto doesn’t just “break” because of quantum tech. Networks can upgrade to quantum-resistant (post-quantum) cryptography. So, no need to panic.

But in reality, a few challenges will come up:

• Decentralized systems take time to agree on upgrades

• There may be debates → possibly leading to forks

• Some inactive/weak projects might not upgrade at all

• New upgrades could introduce short-term bugs or risks

• Self-custody users will need to move funds to updated wallets

🪙 And then there’s the mystery of Satoshi’s coins…

If those wallets ever move, it tells a story. If not, there may be discussions in the future about how to handle them securely.

💡 The fundamentals remain strong:

• Encrypting is always easier than breaking

• More computing power drives innovation

• Crypto will evolve — even in a post-quantum world
