The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the target of the nighttime attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the facilities of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Novorossiysk was to inflict economic damage on the company's largest shareholders from the United States and Kazakhstan.
The Defense Ministry emphasized that the Kiev regime deliberately attacked the infrastructure of an international oil transportation company.

Earlier, the ministry reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces attack drones struck the marine transshipment complex, seeking to destabilize the global hydrocarbon market and halt the supply of petroleum products to European consumers.
