i looked at @Pixels again and the thing that keeps standing out to me is how they didnt make the token the first thing you feel, and i think that matters more than people think because most web3 games do the exact opposite, they throw the token in your face from minute one and after that everything starts feeling like work not play, but here i feel like you get pulled into the game first and only later you notice that okay yeah $PIXEL is sitting underneath the serious parts like nfts upgrades guild stuff and all the things that are meant to feel more premium

the part that actually made me stop and think a bit more is how they split the whole economy because i dont think that was some random design choice, to me it looks very intentional and honestly kind of needed, basic actions running through off-chain coins while the main token stays for higher level stuff just feels cleaner to me and probably saves the whole system from the usual mess, less people dumping the main token for every tiny action less inflation pressure less of that fast breakdown we keep seeing in game economies when everybody is farming and selling at the same time

i’ve seen so many web3 games die the same way and thats probably why this stood out to me, not because i think pixels is perfect or risk free or some guaranteed success, i dont think that at all, i just think they are at least trying to slow down the part that normally kills these projects, and i kinda respect that because most teams dont even try hard enough they just let the token do everything until the whole loop starts falling apart

so yeah maybe i’m wrong maybe it still gets messy later maybe cracks show when more pressure hits but right now i can at least say i see the logic here and i think thats why pixels feels a bit different to me, not in a hype way just in a more thought-through way and these days that alone gets my attention
