I’ve seen a lot of Web3 games try to sell the future, and most of them forget to be games first. Pixels doesn’t feel like it’s trying that hard. It’s simple, a bit rough, and maybe that’s why people actually stay.

I’m not fully convinced yet—tokens have a way of changing everything over time—but I keep noticing something here that’s easy to miss in this space: people aren’t just extracting value, they’re spending time.

And after everything I’ve watched in crypto, that alone is enough to make me pause.
