🚨 Trump Refuses to Clearly Say if US Would Defend Taiwan
Lindsey Graham says Congress is preparing heavy sanctions against China if it invades Taiwan.
According to Graham, the proposed plan would hit China with major tariffs and economic penalties “on day one” to try to stop any military action before it starts.
But at the same time, Donald Trump avoided giving a direct answer when asked whether the US would actually defend Taiwan militarily.
Trump simply replied:
“I don’t want to say anything about that.”
Why is this important?
Taiwan is one of the most dangerous flashpoints in the world right now.
China considers Taiwan part of its territory, while the US has long supported Taiwan militarily and politically.
Trump’s refusal to answer clearly makes the US position look weak or uncertain.
As for Senator Graham, He making aggressive foreign policy statements without having the actual power to enforce them alone.
Sanctions on China would ultimately depend on the White House, Congress, and America’s broader allies.
❓ Does uncertainty prevent war with China… or make conflict more likely?
