Now it’s starting to look like buyers are spending more energy for less progress.

This is the stage where charts become deceptive.

Price is still printing higher, so people naturally assume momentum is alive.

But look closer:

The pushes aren’t traveling the same distance anymore. Every step higher feels heavier, slower… almost like the move is climbing uphill.

That’s usually what happens when supply starts absorbing demand near resistance.

Most traders only realize it after the first sharp rejection candle hits.

By then, the clean entry is already gone.

I’d rather lean against tired momentum than chase a move running low on fuel.
