Trump hints at frustrations with pace of Iran negotiations 🚨
Trump said again that his bottom line is no nuclear weapons for Iran.
But he did also say this wouldn’t be a decision to lay off forever, that the military was locked and loaded, ready to go, the ships were fully armed, and that he would give probably until the beginning of next week before he made a decision.
Interestingly, he said, “We may have to hit them one more time,” because he’s not overly impressed at the pace of negotiations, [and not convinced on] whether or not the Iranians are actually serious about this.
This just adds to the pressure that Donald Trump is putting on them, but also putting on himself. He talked about the financial impact on the people of the United States. He apologised. He said he’s sorry people are feeling this, but this [war] was absolutely the right thing to do.
