Vance says ‘a lot of progress’ made in US-Iran negotiations 🚨
US Vice President JD Vance has reiterated that Washington believes Tehran wants to make a deal but that the Trump administration is ready to relaunch military attacks if necessary.
“The president has asked us to negotiate in good faith, and that’s exactly what we’ve done,” Vance told reporters during a briefing at the White House.
He added, however, that “option B” would be to launch new military operations.
“But that’s not what the president wants, and I don’t think it’s what the Iranians want either,” Vance said.
