Qatari PM discusses de-escalation efforts with Egypt’s foreign minister 🚨
Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has held talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
The pair discussed bilateral relations as well as developments in the region, including the US-Iran ceasefire and “efforts aimed at de-escalation”, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a readout of the talks.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the need for all parties to respond to mediation efforts in a way that will allow them to reach “a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation”, the ministry said.
