US offers hefty reward for information on Hezbollah financing 🚨
The US State Department has issued another statement seeking tips on Hezbollah’s financial networks.
In a post on X, the State Department urged people with information on the group’s “financial networks, leaders or operatives” to report it to its secure tip lines.
It said rewards for information that disrupts Hezbollah’s financing could be up to $10m.
As we’ve reported, the US government recently imposed numerous sanctions on people and entities linked to Hezbollah, including members of Lebanon’s parliament.
Hezbollah has called the sanctions an “attempt to intimidate the free Lebanese people” and would have “absolutely no practical effect on our strategic choices”.
