US and Iran Begin New 60-Day Talks

The United States and Iran have started a new 60-day negotiation period after President Trump signed a temporary agreement with Tehran.

The discussions will focus on Iran's nuclear program, possible sanctions relief, and the release of some frozen Iranian assets.

This is not a final peace deal. Both sides agreed to keep talking and warned that there could be serious consequences if the negotiations fail.

Following the announcement, Brent crude oil prices fell to around $76 per barrel, while global financial markets showed little reaction.
