🚨 TRUEBIT PROTOCOL SUFFERS MAJOR SECURITY BREACH, $TRU WIPED OUT
The Ethereum-based verification and computation protocol Truebit @Truebitprotocol was hit by a security exploit, resulting in losses of approximately 8,535 ETH (around $26.6 million). The attacker was able to acquire large amounts of truat an extremely low cost.
According to CoinMarketCap, following the incident, Truebit’s tru token plunged 100%, collapsing from around $0.16 to $0.0000000007191, leaving its market capitalization effectively unmeasurable.
