This keeps STH NUPL around -0.14, meaning short-term holders are, on average, holding unrealized losses. This confirms pressure on newer market participants, but current stress remains far from prior capitulation-level extremes. During the 2015 low region, STH NUPL reached roughly -0.70. In December 2018, it moved near -0.56. During the 2022 stress phase, it reached around -0.60. This places the market in a fragile middle zone: short-term holders are already under pressure, but the deeper unrealized-loss stress seen near prior major lows has not appeared yet.
