China Cracks Down on Stablecoins and Tokenized Assets
#China ’s central bank and seven regulators have jointly barred the issuance of unapproved Renminbi‑pegged #stablecoins and tokenized real‑world assets (#(#RWA s), applying the ban to both local and foreign entities.
Authorities argue unregulated digital tokens can function like fiat and pose risks, reinforcing China’s broader stance against speculative crypto while advancing its own digital yuan strategy.
This move closes previous regulatory ambiguity around offshore yuan‑linked coins and RWA projects.
Vanar Chain, Powering the AI-Native Future of Web3 with $VANRY
The next evolution of blockchain isn’t just faster transactions or lower fees, it’s intelligence built directly into the chain itself. That’s exactly why @Vanarchain stands out. Vanar Chain is an AI-native Layer-1 designed to move beyond simple value transfer. Instead of relying on disconnected off-chain systems, Vanar integrates semantic data storage and on-chain reasoning into its core architecture. This means applications can process context, understand information, and execute smarter logic directly on the blockchain. At the center of this ecosystem is $VANRY , powering transactions, staking, and access to network utilities. But more than just a utility token, it fuels an infrastructure built for real-world adoption. What makes #Vanar especially exciting is its focus on practical use cases like PayFi, tokenized real-world assets, and intelligent automation. Imagine smart contracts that don’t just execute code, but interpret structured data, automate compliance workflows, and enable more advanced financial interactions, all on-chain. As Web3 matures, intelligence and usability will matter more than raw throughput. Vanar is positioning itself at the intersection of AI and decentralized finance, building the foundation for a smarter, more connected on-chain economy.
The future of blockchain isn’t just decentralized. It’s intelligent, and @Vanarchain is leading that shift. 🚀 #Vanar

AI Agents Hit Their First Major Supply Chain Attack, Malware in Clawhub’s Top Skill
On February 5, 2026, Daniel Lockyer (x.com/DanielLockyer) posted a stark warning on X: “malware found in the top downloaded skill on clawhub and so it begins” He was quoting his own post from just 10 days earlier, where he predicted: “I estimate we’re only a couple of weeks from an extremely serious security issue within a company… They’re being given full access to secrets and tooling, and now we find they’re accessible to the public internet. Fun times ahead.” That prediction aged in record time. The skill in question was the #1 downloaded item on Clawhub, a marketplace for “skills” that extend OpenClaw (also known as Clawdbot/Moltbot), a local-first AI agent that can read your files, control your browser, run terminal commands, and hold long-term memory. The malicious skill masqueraded as a simple “Twitter” (now X) trends tool. Its instructions looked legitimate at first glance, but the very first step told users to install a “required dependency” called openclaw-core. Clicking the provided links led to staged malware delivery: a web page that tricked the AI agent into running obfuscated shell commands, downloading a second-stage payload, stripping macOS quarantine flags, and executing an infostealer. The malware (confirmed via VirusTotal) targeted browser sessions, cookies, saved passwords, developer tokens, SSH keys, cloud credentials, everything an agent with broad permissions can reach. Since the original discovery, researchers have found hundreds of malicious skills on Clawhub (341 in one audit alone), many part of coordinated campaigns delivering Atomic Stealer (AMOS) on macOS, keyloggers on Windows, and credential-stealing wrappers.
The root problem is simple and terrifying: OpenClaw skills are basically executable Markdown files. There is no review process, no sandboxing by default, and the entire registry runs on trust + downloads. It’s the npm/PyPI supply-chain nightmare, but now the packages can directly exfiltrate your AWS keys or crypto wallets. Security teams are already issuing blunt advice: Do not run OpenClaw on any device with corporate credentials. If you’ve installed skills from Clawhub, treat the machine as compromised.Rotate every secret you’ve ever used on it. Lockyer’s post has already racked up millions of views and sparked the conversation the industry needed. The era of “just install this cool AI skill” is over before it really began. The lesson is the same one every package ecosystem eventually learns, except this time the blast radius is your entire digital life. And so it begins.
