But Why Kill the Goose That Lays Golden Eggs?
Over the past few weeks, I’ve read more nonsense about Pipin than about most “serious” crypto projects.
Funding rates are terrible.
It’s a scam.
Whales are manipulating it.
It’s all going to zero.
Sounds familiar?
Because I’ve read the exact same stuff about Doge. About Shiba. About Pepe. About literally every asset that started making people money faster than they were comfortable with.
So let me ask a simple question:
why are people so obsessed with killing the goose that’s laying golden eggs?
Crypto isn’t a moral system. It’s a tool.
Let’s stop pretending the market is supposed to be fair, ethical, or “clean.”
It isn’t.
The market exists to move money from the impatient to the patient. That’s it.
Pipin isn’t some unique evil experiment. It’s not a savior either. It’s just an instrument. The same way futures are. The same way meme coins are. The same way Bitcoin was when nobody believed in it.
Most people screaming “scam” usually:
entered without a plan
overleveraged
held a losing position too long
or expected a straight line up
Funding rates aren’t a death sentence
Funding is simply the price of impatience.
If you’re paying funding, it means you want fast money.
If you’re holding spot or managing exposure properly, time works for you instead of against you.
And here’s the part many people hate hearing:
You don’t always need to fight an asset to make money.
Sometimes you just need to let it exist.
The biggest mistake is trying to squeeze everything out of it
The market punishes greed. Hard.
Especially when everyone thinks they’re smarter than everyone else.
Pipin doesn’t owe you a 10x in a week.
But it can keep paying those who don’t rush to slaughter the asset the moment they see volatility.
An uncomfortable conclusion
Pipin isn’t the problem.
Expectations are. Panic is. Lack of strategy is.
Trade it if you want.
Hold it if you want.
Ignore it if you want.
But before yelling “scam” again, ask yourself one thing:
Am I acting like an investor… or like a butcher?
Because a goose that keeps getting beaten eventually stops laying eggs.
