Talks are heating up again around the idea that digital assets like $XRP could play a role in resetting the global financial system — and even help erase the $35 trillion U.S. national debt.

On Sept 6, Anton Kobyakov, advisor to Russian President Putin, claimed the U.S. is "rewriting the rules of gold and crypto" to respond to falling global trust in the dollar. He warned of a "Crypto Cloud Reset", comparing it to financial resets in the 1930s and 1970s — suggesting Washington may use crypto and stablecoins to restructure its debt and start fresh.

This bold claim sparked renewed interest in XRP’s potential role. With Ripple still holding 35.6 billion XRP in escrow, crypto analyst Pumpius crunched the numbers:

➡️ If XRP were adopted to pay off the U.S. debt, it would need to hit $983 per token — turning Ripple’s escrow into $35 trillion in liquidity.

With today’s price around $3.03, that’s a +32,000% jump.

But it doesn’t stop there. Pumpius says:

🔹 $983 = U.S. debt wiped

🔹 $10,000 = XRP as global CBDC liquidity layer

🔹 $100,000 = Powers capital markets

🔹 $1M+ = Anchors biometric/genomic ID systems via XRPL

He argues this kind of repricing wouldn’t be gradual — but overnight, triggered by a global liquidity reset. Unlike Bitcoin (too slow) or Ethereum (too fragmented), he claims XRP is the only scalable, neutral choice for mass institutional adoption.

⚠️ Disclaimer: These projections are highly speculative. Many remain skeptical of XRP’s ability to reach this scale — some still see Bitcoin as the more likely candidate for global adoption.
