I’ve been thinking about how trust has always worked.
For centuries, we’ve relied on middlemen - notaries, banks, government offices to vouch for things. Someone stamps a paper, signs a document, or clears a payment. It usually works… until it doesn’t. The notary gets corrupt. The office loses the file. The system goes offline. Then everything falls apart.
@SignOfficial is trying something different. Something that actually feels radical to me.
What if we didn’t need those middlemen anymore?
Instead of depending on one person or one office, S.I.G.N. uses cryptographic attestations. It won’t solve every problem. Corruption and bad actors won’t magically vanish. But after watching too many broken trust systems in both crypto and the real world, this approach feels more honest and more practical than most things I’ve seen.
