🚨 ALERT INFO 🚨
Iran is launching naval maneuvers in the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps navy has begun a military exercise in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, state media reported on Monday.
Dubbed "smart control of the Strait of Hormuz," the exercise is conducted by the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), under the supervision of its commander-in-chief, Mahmoud Pakpour.

According to Iranian authorities, these maneuvers aim to assess the operational units' state of preparedness, update security plans, and simulate response scenarios to potential military threats in the area.

The exercise is also expected to highlight, according to officials cited by state media, the exploitation of Iran's geopolitical position in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, key maritime routes for global energy trade.
