🧠 What a Dream Taught Me About Risk

I haven’t traded for almost a month.
But somehow, the market still found its way into my mind.

Last night, I dreamed of a golden cobra.

It bit my hands.
My legs.

The venom started spreading slowly through my body.

I knew what it meant.
Something was wrong… and getting worse.

---

So I did what most traders do.

I tried to fix it.

I tied my arms.
I tied my legs.
I searched for anything that could stop the venom.

I kept thinking:
ā€œIf I just do a little more… maybe I can control this.ā€

But nothing worked.

The more I tried,
the more it felt like I was losing control.

---

By the time the venom was close to my heart,

I stopped.

Not because I had a solution.
But because I realized…

I didn’t.

---

And that’s when everything changed.

Someone appeared.
They didn’t ask questions.
They didn’t try to fix things halfway.

They just took me to the hospital.

I survived.

---

That moment stayed with me.

Because it felt too familiar.

In trading,
we are taught to act.

Fix the trade.
Adjust the position.
Find a way out.

But sometimes,

the need to control everything
is exactly what puts you deeper into risk.

---

Not every situation can be fixed.

Some can only be survived.

---

Stepping away from the market
wasn’t about giving up opportunities.

It was about breaking a pattern
I didn’t fully see before.

---

I don’t know when I’ll trade again.

But when I do,
I won’t try to control everything anymore.

I’ll focus on something more important.

---

šŸ“Œ Survival is not optional. It’s the foundation of everything.
