【Stop-Loss Review】
The ETH contract long position at 2108 was stopped out after adjusting the stop-loss to 2103, but fortunately, the stop-loss range was limited, and the risk control system perfectly avoided the market's whipsaw and emotional amplification effects;
Although the loss was limited, I took some time over the weekend to deeply review the overall market and the reasons for the loss:
Firstly, my positioning for this long trade was based on a price rebound wave in the hourly timeframe, which is essentially swing trading, but my entry method was too left-sided. The hourly reversal didn't show a bullish structure, and while intraday trades can still yield small profits, this was a failure for swing trading;
I also realized that in the past, during the first wave of the hourly reversal, I often failed to stop-loss effectively. Thus, the essence of the loss is as stated in point one: being too left-sided and letting market feel dictate decisions instead of system signals.
So, stay patient. Regarding the current market conditions, Huahua doesn’t have a special view, and I can even say I find it a bit confusing, so I’ll approach the market with caution and wait for a better structure and entry points.
