AI Crypto Still Feels Broken

Most AI crypto projects feel useless right now. Same buzzwords. Same fake hype. Everybody says they’re “changing the future” but half the apps barely work and the other half are just farming attention on Twitter.

The biggest joke is data. People create value every day without even thinking about it. Posts. Images. Conversations. Training data. All of it gets sucked into AI systems and regular users get nothing back. Big companies win. Everyone else just feeds the machine for free.

That’s why OpenLedger caught my attention a bit. Not because I suddenly trust crypto again. I don’t. I’m honestly tired of hearing about “revolutions” every week.

But at least this project seems focused on the actual problem. Data has value. Models have value. AI agents have value. The problem is nobody outside big tech can really monetize any of it properly. Everything is locked away in closed systems.

And crypto made this worse in some ways. Too much speculation. Too many useless tokens pretending to be infrastructure.

OpenLedger feels different because it’s trying to make AI assets usable instead of just tradable. That matters more to me now. I don’t care about another shiny roadmap. I care if normal people can actually earn from the stuff they help create.

Maybe that’s the real future here. Not more hype. Just systems that finally work without screwing over the people building them.
