Ripple just snagged a European license, but it seems like XRP is getting left in the dust?

Ripple secured a preliminary CASP license in Luxembourg, getting closer to full MiCA compliance. With this license plus their existing EMI license, they'll seamlessly roll out compliant payment infrastructure across 30 countries in Europe.

But there's a small hitch—this time, the winners are corporate payment stacks and RLUSD, while XRP was barely mentioned in the announcement. Competitors like Circle, B2C2, and OKX have already lined up, making Ripple a bit of a latecomer.

XRP is hovering around $1.10 right now, and it's down about 3% today. Regulatory good news ≠ token pump; this saying has proven true in the crypto space once again. 🫠
