After nine years, the ICON Network is being formally retired for its full transition into SODAX. Following a network proposal, ICON will be permanently shut down on December 31, 2026.
Rewards and emissions on the ICON Network have officially ended. The network has entered economic shutdown for migration to SODA.
ICON Network is migrating to SODAX. ICX emissions end March 26, 2026 with ICX holders migrating 1:1 to SODA. SODAX Stake launches March 16 & SODAX Pool launches March 24. Holders should stake by April 8 to maximize yield from protocol fees.
Balanced’s Savings Rate and liquidity will stop earning rewards in preparation for the ICON Network’s economic shutdown.
ICON Network is halting L1 emissions to transition to SODA & SODAX DeFi. Validators will reduce to 7 nodes as ICX migrates 1:1 to SODA. Secure your assets and prepare for the March 2026 economic shutdown.

More SODAX contracts deployed to Sonic as DeFi infra migrates. The Solver is integrated chain-wide, AMM v4 is deployed, and SDKs begin to take shape — for partners to tap into cross-chain swaps, lending, and intent-based execution.
SODAX has arrived on its new hub chain, Sonic. Money Market contracts are now live, with the Solvers updated to make the most of their liquidity. Unlocking smarter execution, and scalable DeFi across 8 chains (so far).
