Right now, TAO is showing strong bullish momentum, but there are major warning signs that a short-term pullback is highly likely.
The Daily Chart (1D): The price has surged beautifully to ~$249, crossing above both the 7-day and 25-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA). However, look at the RSI(6) at the bottom—it is sitting at 91.5. Any RSI over 70 is considered "overbought," and 91.5 is extreme. This means the asset has been bought up too fast and needs to cool down.
The 4-Hour (4H) & 1-Hour (1H) Charts: Both of these timeframes also show an RSI well above 75.
The Weekly Chart (1W): Zooming out, the coin has bounced off a massive low of ~$140 and is trying to reverse its long-term downtrend.
The Verdict: In the short term, the price is highly likely to face a correction or trade sideways to let that overheated RSI cool off. If it can hold its ground during the pullback, the medium-term trend looks promising.
When is a good entry point?
Entering a trade right now carries a high risk of "buying the top." When an RSI is sitting in the 90s on a daily chart, the smart money usually waits for a retracement rather than giving into FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
Instead of deploying your USDT right now, consider waiting for the price to drop back to key support levels. Good areas to watch for an entry would be:
A retest of the Daily EMA(7): Currently around $218. If the price pulls back to this line and bounces, it's a much safer entry.
A deeper correction: If the market turns bearish, it could retest the $195 - $200 range near the 25-day EMA.
Scaling into a trade—buying a little bit at $218, and a little more if it drops to $200—is a great way to manage risk.
Is TAO better than Ethereum (ETH)?
It's not about one being objectively "better" than the other; they serve completely different purposes in a portfolio and carry different risk levels.
Ethereum (ETH): This is a blue-chip, foundational asset. It is the dominant Layer-1 for smart contracts and DeFi. While holding major caps like Ethereum sometimes requires weathering longer market drawdowns and holding through red periods, it is generally much less volatile and safer long-term.
Bittensor (TAO): This is a newer, highly specialized altcoin focused on decentralized Artificial Intelligence. Because it is tied to the AI narrative and has a much smaller market cap than ETH, it will experience incredibly volatile swings—meaning the potential for faster percentage gains, but also much steeper and faster losses.
If you are looking for stability and long-term foundational growth, ETH is the standard. If you are looking for high-risk, high-reward trades driven by current market narratives, TAO is an excellent candidate to trade.

Looking at the multiple timeframes, Ethereum is currently experiencing a short-term pullback after hitting a local high of $2,209.03, but it is still maintaining a generally bullish structure on the higher timeframes.

Short-Term (15m & 1h): The trend is currently bearish. The price has dropped below the short-term EMAs (7 and 25). However, the RSI(6) on both the 15m (20.97) and 1h (24.16) charts is highly oversold, suggesting a short-term bounce or consolidation is likely soon.
Medium-Term (4h): The price is resting right on the EMA(25) at $2,068.74. The blue ascending trendline shows that the medium-term market structure is still intact, making higher lows.
Long-Term (1D): The daily chart looks healthy. The price is sitting above both the EMA(7) and EMA(25) (around $2,050), and it is respecting the upward diagonal trendline drawn from the $1,800 level.
2. Best Entry Points (Spot)
Since you are looking for a spot entry, you want to buy at strong support levels where the price is likely to bounce.
Aggressive Entry: $2,050 - $2,065
The price is already hovering in this zone. It is currently testing the 4h EMA(25) and is just above the daily EMA(7) and EMA(25) cluster ($2,050). Entering a partial spot position here makes sense as it aligns with historical daily support.
Conservative Entry: $2,030 - $1,965
If the price breaks below the daily EMAs, the next strong level of support is the 4h EMA(99) at $2,032. Below that, the major blue ascending trendline on the 4h chart sits around the $1,965 mark. Placing limit orders in this zone could catch a deeper liquidity grab.
3. Targets for Profit
Once in a position, you can scale out your profits at these key resistance levels:
Target 1 (Short-Term): $2,100 - $2,135
This zone represents the short-term EMAs on the 1-hour chart that the price recently broke down from. They will act as immediate resistance on the way back up.
