Learn How To Read Market Structure Like A Pro 📈
Many beginners enter trades without understanding one thing:
"Where is the market going?"
Before opening any LONG or SHORT position, learn these 5 important concepts:
✅ Market Trend
✅ Support & Resistance
✅ FVG (Fair Value Gap)
✅ BOS (Break Of Structure)
✅ How To Find Trade Direction
Let's understand step by step 👇
1️⃣ How To Find Market Trend Direction?
The market moves in 3 ways:
🟢 Uptrend (Bullish Market)
Price creates:
Higher High (HH)
Higher Low (HL)
Example:
Price goes: 100 → 120 → 110 → 140
Buyers are stronger.
Trading idea: Look for LONG opportunities near support areas.
🔴 Downtrend (Bearish Market)
Price creates:
Lower High (LH)
Lower Low (LL)
Example:
Price goes: 100 → 80 → 90 → 70
Sellers are controlling the market.
Trading idea: Look for SHORT opportunities near resistance areas.
🟡 Sideways Market (Range)
Price moves between support and resistance.
No clear direction.
Avoid forcing trades until a breakout happens.
2️⃣ Support & Resistance Explained
🟢 Support
Support is a price zone where buyers usually step in.
Think of it as a "floor".
Example:
BTC drops to $60,000 multiple times and buyers push price higher.
That zone becomes support.
Trading idea:
Support + bullish confirmation = possible LONG
🔴 Resistance
Resistance is a price zone where sellers appear.
Think of it as a "ceiling".
Example:
BTC reaches $65,000 and gets rejected repeatedly.
That zone becomes resistance.
Trading idea:
Resistance + bearish confirmation = possible SHORT
3️⃣ What Is BOS (Break Of Structure)?
BOS means:
Break Of Structure
It tells us that market direction may be changing.
Bullish BOS:
Price breaks the previous Higher High.
Example:
Previous high: $100
Price breaks above $100
➡️ Buyers gaining control.
Bearish BOS:
Price breaks the previous Higher Low.
Example:
Previous support: $90
Price breaks below $90
➡️ Sellers gaining control.
4️⃣ What Is FVG (Fair Value Gap)?
FVG is an imbalance created when price moves very fast.
During strong moves, buyers or sellers leave an "empty zone" where price may return later.
Example:
Price pumps quickly:
$100 → $110 → $120
The area between candles where little trading happened becomes FVG.
Many traders watch FVG because price often revisits these zones before continuing.
5️⃣ How To Combine Everything For A Trade?
A professional trader does not use only one signal.
Example LONG setup:
✅ Market is in uptrend
✅ Price returns to support
✅ FVG is nearby
✅ Bullish BOS appears
✅ Buyers show strength
Then a LONG setup becomes stronger.
Example SHORT setup:
✅ Market is in downtrend
✅ Price reaches resistance
✅ Bearish FVG zone
✅ Bearish BOS appears
✅ Sellers take control
Then SHORT becomes more logical.
🔥 Beginner Trading Rule:
Never ask:
❌ "Which coin will pump?"
Ask:
✅ "What is the market structure telling me?"
The chart always gives clues.
