My $ETH spot short position is still in significant loss, but I managed to build up quite a decent size and improve average entry along the way.

What if $60K was the macro bottom and Bitcoin goes for another bull run from here?

Ok, I don’t think this will happen, but no one knows — we only play probabilities.
And still, many people are in fear and in greed at the same time:
“What if it drops more? What if it goes to zero? What if it goes to a new ATH already?” And so on…

If Bitcoin is about to make a new ATH, first it will show at least some signs of strength. For example, an impulsive move up from the current consolidation, reclaiming the Bull Market Support Band, reclaiming the 50-week MA. And many, many corrections on the way so you can enter again, even if there is some gap between your sell and buy price.

When Bitcoin is about to make a huge move up — it looks strong, but the price action we see now is not strong at all.

Don’t be afraid to sell in a bear market the same way as you aren’t afraid of buying in the bull market. Don’t stress — navigate the market.

Während die Märkte eine gewisse Entlastung erfahren, betrachte ich dies als eine Gelegenheit, meine $ETH kurze Spot-Position sowohl in Bezug auf die Größe als auch auf den durchschnittlichen Einstieg zu verbessern.

Es ist zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein wenig im roten Bereich, ich habe vor, mehr in diese Position von 2150 $ bis 2450 $ hinzuzufügen.

After Trump’s “verbal intervention,” markets experienced some relief.

Definitely, the S&P 500 being under its bull market support band is a scary sign, and he will say whatever is needed to prevent a major crash.
But we’ve got a weekly close below that level and haven’t reclaimed it yet. Looks quite weak.
Oil price indeed went down yesterday, but if we pay attention to the chart, the trend started not last week — the price has been growing since the beginning of January. Probably it will still continue to go up even if some kind of de-escalation is due to come in the following days/weeks.

Der Markt ist brutal.
Nur gestern war meine Short-Position $ETH tief im Minus und heute ist sie grün geworden - mit einem signifikanten Gewinn.

Meanwhile my $ETH spot short is getting closer to flip green.
The size is decent for me already, but I'll add 1 or 2 $ETH on the way down, once we get a confirmation of the next dump.

This is very important.
If S&P breaks down from BMSM (bull market support band) - we may expect something similar to what happened almost a year ago in March-April 2025. $BTC will dump really hard in this case, probably even sub $50,000.
And looking at the chart it seems that it wants to break down.
Today might be the day.

While my short is underwater I also build $ETH spot long position with a trailing stop loss (I manage it manually).

Not bad so far, I'll keep adding to the position on the way up, probably close it if we get some SFP.

My $ETH spot short is finally getting a decent size, already 4.16 $ETH with average antry at $2,040.15.
If market gives me such an opportunity I'll sell 2-3 more $ETH on the way up to $2,450.

It’s kind of fun to see people posting something like, “X coin will be 10x in the next 10 minutes! I’m going LOOONNNNGGG!”
And then sharing their positions, which are 200%, 600%, or 1500%+ in loss.
First, you need to adopt probabilistic thinking, and second, use proper risk management — this is the only way not to be like them.

Meanwhile $BTC is still looking very good, wonder what we can see on US market open.

My ENA long looks good so far. Probably I should start taking some profit.

You may not believe but the trend is actually UP for $BTC

Wenn es länger dauert, bis der Preis sich erholt, als es gedauert hat, um einen Höhepunkt zu erreichen, ist das eine Korrektur.
Zum Beispiel hatten wir während einer 4H-Kerze einen Pump, der nur zur Hälfte in den nächsten vier 4H-Kerzen zurückverfolgt wurde.
Das ist eindeutig eine Korrektur und wir können vernünftigerweise erwarten, dass der Aufwärtstrend anhält.

In der Zwischenzeit hier ist mein $ETH spot short.

Was für eine schöne Pumpe!
Ich hoffe, eine gute Größe und einen anständigen Durchschnittspreis für meinen $ETH spot Short zu bekommen. Sehen wir endlich eine #ReliefRally ?
Ich werde mit neuen Verkaufsaufträgen weiter aktualisieren.

Sollte ich einen Teil des Gewinns mitnehmen oder den Stop-Loss auf Break-Even setzen? Der März neigt dazu, bullish zu sein…

Market right now is a ticking bomb and Monday is the trigger.
But here is the question — will it explode up or down?

Recently I shared my exit strategy and want to show an example of a coin that I sold this way.
$SOLV - my average selling price is $0.008542, while current price is ~$0.00388. The stop loss currently is at $0.006 — which I consider as a safe level during the bear market.
Let’s see how much it may dump, but once it’s back — I am in.
