I met a trader some time ago.
Nothing flashy about him.
No big claims.
No loud wins.
But month after month, the payouts kept coming. Quiet. Consistent.
From the outside, it looked simple.
So I asked him about his routine.
How often do you trade?
His answer surprised me.
“Not every day.”
Some weeks, he barely trades at all.
So I asked him why.
He said something that stuck with me.
“Because most days, the market is just noise.”
Most traders wake up thinking they need to trade.
Charts open.
Look for setups.
Try to make something happen.
He does the opposite.
Charts open.
Wait.
Observe.
If nothing is there, he closes the charts.
No pressure to be active.
No need to prove anything.
Just patience.
Then he said this:
“Trading isn’t about being in the market. It’s about being there when the opportunity shows up.”
Most traders lose because they feel the need to participate every day.
The profitable ones?
They’re comfortable doing nothing.
Sometimes the best trade…
is the one you never take.
Anyway, this trader is just shorted BTC 71.6k. I am glad I also targeted that area in my previous post as a short zone.
