$PORTAL just delivered the kind of move that traps most traders a quiet base followed by a vertical expansion straight into liquidity.
Price spent hours compressing around 0.0075–0.0080, building acceptance before aggressively repricing higher. Once the breakout triggered, buyers chased momentum and pushed price directly into the 0.0130 high.
What stands out is the reaction at the top. The first test of 0.0130 was sold into, but sellers couldn't force a meaningful pullback. Price is still holding near the highs, which suggests supply hasn't fully taken control yet.
I'm not interested in buying the extension. The better trade is waiting for a pullback into 0.0115–0.0120, where previous breakout momentum originated. If buyers defend that zone and reclaim higher, that's the entry.
Entry: 0.0115–0.0120
Stop Loss: Below 0.0108
Target 1: 0.0130 liquidity high
Target 2: 0.0145–0.0150 if the high gets cleared
The invalidation is simple. If price loses 0.0108 and starts accepting below the breakout area, the impulsive structure weakens and the long thesis is no longer valid.
Strong trends usually offer a second chance. Chasing rarely does. Right now I'm watching the pullback, not the candle that already ran.
