Russian President Putin said that Moscow remains a loyal friend and reliable partner of Tehran.
According to Reuters, the Kremlin said on Saturday (March 21) that Putin sent greetings for Nowruz (Persian New Year) to Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba and President Pezeshkian.
The Kremlin stated: "Putin wishes the Iranian people to overcome severe trials with dignity and emphasized that during this difficult time, Moscow remains a loyal friend and reliable partner of Tehran."
Russia pointed out that the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran have pushed the entire Middle East into an abyss and triggered a serious global energy crisis. Moscow also referred to the attack on Iran's former Supreme Leader Khamenei as a "cold-blooded" murder.
