80% OF BITCOIN TRANSACTIONS ARE NOW MICRO-TRANSACTIONS

According to CryptoQuant, nearly 80% of all Bitcoin transactions are now under 0.01 BTC

The surge is largely driven by Runes, Ordinals, and inscription activity, pushing daily transaction counts and transactions per block close to record levels.

As a result, the Bitcoin mempool has reached its most congested state since early 2025, increasing competition for block space even as BTC price action remains relatively subdued.
