Ethereum is showing a powerful structural shift beneath the surface, even as price action remains weak. A growing number of investors are choosing to stake their ETH rather than keep it on exchanges, pushing exchange balances down to 14.9 million ETH. At the same time, staking participation has surged to a record 32.4% of total supply, with roughly 39 million ETH locked in validator nodes. This trend is typically considered bullish long-term. This suggests that macro pressure and market sentiment are currently outweighing on-chain strength. From a trading perspective, the next levels are clear. Bears are eyeing the $1,800 support zone as a potential downside target if weakness continues. On the flip side, bulls need to reclaim $2,000 to shift momentum. A successful breakout above that level could open toward $2,200 and even $2,500, but until then, rallies may face strong resistance.
