We have officially concluded Hedera DevDay. Following the final remarks by @richardbair and @ed__marquez, we want to congratulate the winners of the scavenger hunt. Thank you to everyone who joined us, both at the venue and virtually. The ecosystem is showing genuine momentum as builders actively move toward production. Hello future!

We are witnessing the transformation of confidential execution into an essential piece of core infrastructure. An engaging workshop conducted by @Nadine_Codes and @Keith_Kowal provided a deep dive into privacy-preserving execution and zero-knowledge proofs. Participants were treated to practical insights through interactive demos and hands-on exploration.

The evolution of cross-chain technology is truly taking shape 🌐 @michaelgarber87 teamed up with @jaycoolh to explore the capabilities of @LayerZero_Core. They provided support to builders in generating an omnichain token (OFT) that can transfer between the Base and Hedera ecosystems.

@ejazmerchant led an excellent workshop discussing the Hedera Consensus Service, Merkle proofs, and verification workflows. One key takeaway is that anchoring records on-chain can become costly in a hurry unless you utilize smart batching.

Workshop success: Smart contracts with autonomous execution ⏱️

@mr_pachhai and Michael Bennett demonstrated how Hedera empowers contracts to natively schedule and conduct future calls. By executing directly on-network, this solution removes the necessity for off-chain cron jobs or bots.
