💥 Michael Saylor's Strategy stock just hit $103, a 23-month low, down 81% from the peak and lost $153 billion in market cap.
Sounds crazy, fam: the company holds 847,363 BTC, the most on Wall Street. Yet their stock is now trading below the value of that BTC stash. Previously, MSTR was always priced higher than their BTC holdings, but now it's the complete opposite.
₿ Reason? Mr. Saylor bought BTC right at the peak of the cycle. Average cost basis $75,646/BTC, total cost basis $64.1 billion. BTC dropped to around $62K, so the company is sitting on an unrealized loss (not sold, so not real cash) of about $10.6 billion according to holding data.
