Emission is easy, survival – brutally difficult
The report from CoinGecko shows that from 2021 to the end of 2025, more than half of the tokens tracked on GeckoTerminal became inactive. The strongest blow came in 2025, when the number of 'dead' projects reached a record high — especially in Q4, when the rate of failures was expected to reach tens of thousands daily.
