I just pulled up the BTC chart back to 2018 – and I saw something that gave me chills…

Today, I was chilling, and I opened the monthly BTC chart to take a look.

Not the 4H chart. Not the daily.

One month per candlestick. It shows the entire journey from $3,156 to $126,200.

And I sat there for quite a while. Didn't say a word. Just stared. 👀

Do you know that feeling?

When you look at something long enough – and suddenly see something you've overlooked all along.

What I saw was this:

Every time BTC has a major drop in history – the crowd thinks, "this time it's different, this time it's over."

In 2018: it dropped from $20,000 to $3,156. People walked away.
In 2022: it dropped from $69,000 to $16,000. People walked away.
In 2026: it dropped from $126,200 to $62,714. People are… walking away. 😶

And each time like that –

Those who stayed have no regrets.

📊 Looking at this month's data:

RSI(6) is at 28 – oversold territory on the monthly chart, very rare
MA(20) at $90,881 – the price is way below the long-term average
180 days: -31.84% – blood is everywhere

But every time BTC's monthly RSI hits this zone in history…

You know what happens next. 😌

I'm not calling for anyone to buy or sell.

I'm just looking at history and asking myself –

"In 10 years, what will I think about what I did today?"

Ethereum dropped to $1,505 – I'm not selling, not buying. I'm just sitting and thinking…

There are days when you look at the chart and don't want to do anything at all.

Today is one of those days.

ETH fell from $2,323 all the way down to $1,505. Nearly 35% evaporated in just a few weeks. And now it's slightly bouncing back to $1,612.

Up +2.18% after a long streak of red. Looks somewhat positive.

But I’m not feeling too cheerful. 😶

Because I remember the feeling when ETH was at $2,300.

Back then, everyone was confident. Everyone thought they were on the right track. Everyone had some kind of target in mind.

Then the market did what it does best –

It denied everything we thought we knew. 🙃

📊 Looking at the 4H chart:

RSI(6) is at 54 – has recovered from the bottom
MACD is starting to turn green – momentum signal is shifting
But the price is still below all MA and EMA – can't really call it a true reversal yet

I don’t know where ETH will head next.

Up to $1,800? Maybe.
Back down to $1,500? That’s possible too.

But one thing I know for sure is –

Those who keep a cool head during this phase… are often the ones who laugh last. 😌

I almost sold all my BTC at $59,000 – and here’s what stopped me…

Back in early June, I opened my app and saw BTC at $59,087.

My hand was hovering over the sell button.

Seriously. I'm not just saying this for effect. 😔

In the weeks leading up to that, looking at the candlestick chart felt like my insides were on fire. From $82,000 down, it was a freefall. Every day I opened my eyes, it was another red candle.

Everyone around me had their opinions: some said "sell and wait for the bottom," others said "just hodl," and a few claimed "crypto is done for…"

I didn’t know who to trust. Not even myself.

But then I took a step back. I turned off all notifications. I stared at the chart.

And I saw:

📊 RSI was in the extreme oversold zone – history shows this is usually an accumulation area
📊 Selling volume was decreasing – no more panic selling in droves
📊 MACD was starting to narrow – the selling momentum was weakening

Not a guaranteed buy signal. But enough for me not to hit the sell button.

Today BTC is at $62,319. +2.37%.

I still have my coins. 😅

It’s not that I’m brilliant. I just managed to pause and think instead of letting my emotions dictate my moves.

This market has taught me a lot. But the most valuable lesson remains:

Don’t let fear make decisions for you.
