Why Midnight Network is the missing piece of the puzzle for Web3 privacy
The fine line between absolute privacy and regulatory compliance has so far been the biggest hurdle for the mass adaptation of blockchains. @MidnightNetwork approaches this problem with a completely new approach: "Rational Privacy". By using Zero-Knowledge-Proofs (ZK-Proofs), Midnight allows users to prove the accuracy of data without revealing the underlying sensitive information. This is a massive advance compared to conventional systems, where you often have to either disclose everything or remain completely anonymous, which deters institutions. I find the architecture around the $NIGHT token particularly exciting. It not only serves as a governance token, but is the fuel for an ecosystem that makes selective disclosure the norm. In a world in which our digital footprints are growing, the protection of metadata is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. I am very curious to see how the network develops and which dApps will first fully exploit this technology. 🛡️💻 #Privacy #NIGHT #Crypto #Web3 #ZKProof
#night $NIGHT Really impressed with how @MidnightNetwork is tackling the privacy vs. compliance trade-off. Using ZK-proofs to keep data secure while remaining functional is exactly what the industry needs right now. Excited to see where this project goes!
