The three major US stock indices closed mixed, with cryptocurrency concepts and computer hardware sectors leading the gains. Hut 8 rose nearly 4%, Strategy and SanDisk increased over 3%, Quantum rose nearly 3%, Dell Technologies increased over 2%, Western Digital and HP rose over 1%. The oil and gas, and energy sectors saw the largest declines. In terms of individual stocks, Tesla rose over 3% to reach a new high since its listing, and Meta increased over 1%.
