Currently, from the perspective of weekly and monthly charts, the structure is actually quite clear; the market is forming a somewhat standard head and shoulders bottom. The left shoulder is around 2100, followed by the head, and now the right shoulder is retesting, but it has not broken below the low of the left shoulder, which is a strong signal in itself. As long as the neckline is effectively broken later, the head and shoulders bottom pattern will be established.
So if you hold ETH below 2000, honestly, there’s no need to be anxious every day; just hold on, the structure is in your favor. On the contrary, those who dare not hold while hoping for a crash every day are the most likely to be shaken out at critical positions.
If you can’t accept not getting in at lower prices and aren’t afraid of a slightly higher average price, pursuing certainty is also fine; the technicals already give you the answer — wait for the breakout. Just be clear that if the neckline truly breaks, the price is likely already above 5k; by then, you are buying into the trend, not at a low price.
The market is already quite obvious, yet people still fantasize about three-digit ETH; this kind of thinking is somewhat out of touch with the cycle. In the last bear market, ETH's lowest was 880, and Bitcoin was at 17,000, which later dropped further to 15,000, but ETH's 880 never broke. This round has just set a new high, and people are already hoping for three-digit prices; the logic itself is flawed. Therefore, I will start dollar-cost averaging into ETH around 2000; it may not be the bottom, but it is definitely a point worth betting on.
If ETH drops to three digits, that means the entire market has completely collapsed, and by that time, you will likely not buy, only thinking it could drop further. So rather than making such unrealistic expectations every day, it’s better to admit one thing: once the trend is established, one should be a bit braver.
The market never rewards those who hesitate to perfection; it only rewards those who dare to bet in the right direction.
