Review: $ETH dropped to 2884 last night, and my long position was stopped out, then it rebounded (at that time I thought) to 2900 and chose to open a short position, then at 2958 I was stopped out again. At this point, my mindset was already chaotic, and I stopped trading. In the end, I got lucky and opened a short position at 2989 to make some profit back, and I also successfully added positions in between and ultimately shorted near 2802.
1. Losing money relies on skill, making money purely depends on luck; 2. The system and model still haven't been established, and trading on the right side following the trend for big profits requires gambling on the left side highs and lows; 3. Inconsistency between knowledge and action: I had already decided during dinner that after the US stock market opened, it would pull up for one last wave and then turn short to make small profits based on interest rate hike expectations; 4. The mindset needs to be strengthened; after losses, I was anxious to recover my capital and immediately opened positions.
The only outcome of the contract is to return to zero. In the end, it really comes down to news, planning, market feel, mindset, and position drawdown control. Respect the market, honor the trend, strive to be an excellent player, and avoid wasting time.
Today's plan: small short position
